As a Catholic school, we see as one of St Kilian's primary aims, the development of individuals who are capable of self direction, of choosing freely, intelligently and responsibly in accordance with their developing conscience. We are committed to the fostering of self-discipline.
We seek to achieve this aim in an environment where children are brought together with all their varying abilities, different backgrounds and conflicting attitudes to authority and learning.
To support our Behaviour Education program, we participate in PBiS (Positive Behaviour Intervention Support) in which we have three clear school rules -
1. Be Safe
2. Be Respectful
3. Be Responsible
The children learn about how we make our school and community a better place in which to learn through positive support and reward.
